Thank You Rack Room Shoes!

Regional manger Brian Gurley and local store manager Duncan Layton from Rack Room Shoes visited CATA on Tuesday, February 26 to present $15,000 to the band students as part of the "Gift of Music" music video grant contest.

Over 300 schools submitted videos in in the contest and the CATA band was one of four music programs to win the generous grant from Rack Room Shoes.

Special thanks to Jeff Weis, Patrick Leitner, Chris Verrill, and Kyle Hrenyo for their staging, filming, and editing work on our video.

The grant money will be put towards the purchase of new marching band uniforms for the "Band of Blue." 

We are so grateful for the generosity of Rack Room Shoes and look forward to wearing our new uniforms with pride for many years to come.
