Performance Dress Code

We take great pride in our musicianship, appearance, and showmanship every time we perform in public. It is important to dress for success when performing and all students are expected to adhere to the dress code specifications below:

ALL BAND STUDENTS (symphonic, marching, jazz)

  • All band students are required to purchase a navy band polo to be worn throughout the year at non-formal performances.  Polos may be purchased ONLINE once in the fall and once in the spring via the "team store."  The cost of a band polo is $14 and it may be worn for multiple years.


 MARCHING BAND OF BLUE

  • Summer Uniform - band polo, KHAKI shorts (finger tip length), ankle socks, sneakers or black marching shoes
  • Fall Uniform - marching t-shirt, athletic shorts, school issued marching band bibs, jacket, black marching gloves, garment bag, hat, plume, and hat box 
Marching shoes can be purchased during band camp at a discounted group rate or

SYMPHONIC BAND and JAZZ BAND

Casual Dress
  • Navy band polo
  • Khaki pants/shorts
Formal Dress
  • SOLID BLACK bottoms (long pants/skirt)
  • SOLID BLACK TOP (3/4 or long sleeve)
  • SOLID BLACK SHOES/SOCKS
