Musicians quickly discover that
scheduling requires a bit of creativity and flexibility at CATA. Band
students will most likely be presented with scheduling conflicts at some
point during their career at CATA. Many of these conflicts can be
avoided with careful long-term schedule planning. Registering for a few
online courses can be a HUGE help too!
The goal of the band program at CATA is to provide a traditional high school band experience for all student musicians, regardless of instrument, academy, or grade. Academy courses take top priority at CATA for obvious reasons but the administrative staff, guidance department and Ms. Craven are committed to making band accessible to student musicians who wish to participate.
Guidance
counselors, upperclassmen, and Ms. Craven are all valuable resources
when it comes to planning your schedule and dodging scheduling conflicts
that relate to band. When a conflict comes your way, ASK FOR HELP!
