BANK for BAND CAMPAIGN

We kicked off our BANK for BAND campaign today in class.  BANK for BAND is  a donation based program designed to support our fundraising needs at CATA.  The way it works is simple! Each band student asks 6 people they know to "bank" or invest $5 in their music education.  In return, each investor is invited to attend our many performances throughout the year to see and hear the benefits of their investment.  If each student collects their fair share of $30, we will easily make our goal of $2700.  In fact, with this year's enrollment, we have the potential to raise over $3000!

All donations are due FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12

It is our expectation that ALL band students participate to the best of their ability.  We also ask that students refrain from asking strangers to invest.  We all have a few people in our lives to ask about investing without going door-to-door and risking student safety.  Friends, neighbors, coaches, scout leaders, church members, teachers, administrators, bus drivers, dance teachers, relatives, and family members all make terrific investors.

Donations may be given in CASH, CHECK (payable to CATA BAND BOOSTERS), or via the PAYPAL button on the band webpage.  Paypal donations should be made under "Miscellaneous Donation" and include the student's name in the comment field.

The donations collected in the BANK for BAND campaign are earmarked for start-up costs for the 2014-15 school year.  Our current immediate needs include:

• color guard uniforms
• color guard flags
• marching band pants
• sheet music
• transportation costs

We like to celebrate success in the CATA band room, so there is a long list of incentives and rewards for our students who go the extra mile with their efforts:

• JUMP START BANKER ($15 by September 2) = FREE candy concession at home sporting event
• EARLY BIRD BANKER ($30 by September 5) = FREE breakfast 9/8
• BEST DRESSED BANKER ($50+ by September 12) = FREE spirit tee 
• BAKER BANKER (75+ by September 12) = PIE CRAVEN IN THE FACE!
• BANKER'S BATON ($100+ by September 12) = conduct at a concert/game 
• BIGGEST BAND BANK = movie during rehearsal 9/16
• BEST BANKER IN EACH BAND = $25 cash
• BEST BANKER OVER ALL = $25 cash
• BONUS BANKER REWARD = TO BE REVEALED 9/8...
• LAST MINUTE BANKER REWARD = TO BE REVEALED 9/11...
